From Stage 6. Late Adulthood – The Artisan in the Wild Orchard and Communities

We moved from the Zen Center after living together in that community for 24 years (28 for me). On August 1, 2001 we moved into our “tiny but spacious” condo on the West Side of LA, in Palms, a couple of blocks from Culver City. It was two months after I started my first course in the library credential program at Cal State Long Beach, and the following month Rebecca started college at Mount St. Mary’s. The move was one of several events that changed the course of our lives all at once.  And of course also in September, the events of Tuesday the 11th changed a lot of things in the country and the world.
