After being laid off at Avnet I collected unemployment and did job interviews. I decided I needed to upgrade my technology skills so I enrolled in a computer school while still collecting unemployment. I still couldn’t get a job and I started feeling pretty desperate. I decided to try the Advanced Course at Landmark Education, which carried on the work of Werner Erhart beyond est. I got so pumped up and confident that I decided to start my own business, called Essential Systens Group.
