Times I felt at one with the life force of the universe, the ever present origin, boundless sacred space, presence, great mystery, dark enigma. 

Many times in my 28 years at ZCLA, especially toward the end of 7-day sesshins.

Walking through the meadow after a 7 day sesshin at Mountain Center feeling that  identifying as a human being would limit the open transparent sense of boundless interbeing. (I didn’t have that word then.) Felt a lightness, a transparency. The usually  overlay of separation concepts was blessedly nonexistent. I knew it and had no desire to add it.

Many times in the ten Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche  weekend retreats Mary and I attended together.

Free form dancing in Culver City and Santa Monica groups.

 The bass tones and the big drums resonated very deeply. I felt my big drummer connection – full body fully alive to the pulse of the universe and myself as absolutely totally deeply connected.[From my notes after dance, 6/6/02]
